What are some features of ReplayTV?
ReplayTV is one of several standalone DVRs that can work with any TV service. Here are some of the features you can expect:

- Record without tapes: Like all DVRs, ReplayTV records shows onto a hard drive instead of tapes. This means it's always ready to record and you can watch your shows in any order you choose.

- On Screen guide: No more looking up the TV listings in the paper, the TV Guide or online. ReplayTV has them right on the screen when you press the Guide button.

- Pause Live TV: This is one task a VCR can't do. Watching the game? Go ahead and answer the phone. Just hit pause and pick right up where you left off.

- Quickly replay part of a program: Hit the skip back button and replay the last 7 seconds of what you're watching. This feature is great for hearing that snippet of quite dialog or creating your own instant replay of a game.

- Skip ahead 30 seconds at a time: Instead of fast-forwarding through commercials, just skip over them.

- Watch a recording from the beginning while it's still in progress: Unlike a VCR, you don't need to wait until a recording finishes in order to begin watching it. Just start playing the show and ReplayTV will record the rest while you watch.
