How does the sale of ReplayTV to D&M Holdings affect the features of new ReplayTV units?
At one point, ReplayTV offered two features that resulted in lawsuits against the company. Those features allowed commecials to be automatically deleted from recordings and the ability to share recordings with any other unit that possessed the proper code.

When D&M Holdings aquired the company, they removed those features in order to avoid becoming a party in those lawsuits.
