What are some features of the Dish Network DVR?
Dish Network has a PVR designed to work with its satellite service. Here are some of the features you can expect:

- Record without tapes: Like all DVRs, the Dish Network PVR records shows onto a hard drive instead of tapes. This means it's always ready to record and you can watch your shows in any order you choose.

- On Screen guide: No more looking up the TV listings in the paper, the TV Guide or online. The Dish PVR has them right on the screen when you press the Guide button.

- Pause Live TV: This is one task a VCR can't do. Watching the game? Go ahead and answer the phone. Just hit pause and pick right up where you left off.

- Watch a recording from the beginning while it's still in progress: Unlike a VCR, you don't need to wait until a recording finishes in order to begin watching it. Just start playing the show and ReplayTV will record the rest while you watch.

- Dual Tuners: Like most satellite and cable DVRs, the Dish DVR has two tuners. This means you can record two shows at once or watch live TV while another program records.
