GENERAL INFO.
Why can I still hear my speakers even though I have my headphones plugged in?
When you plug headphones into most devices, the speakers are disabled. This isn't the case with some receivers. For these devices, you also need to switch off the speakers using the speaker selection switches.

The reason for this is so one person can listen to a set of speakers in one area while another uses headphones in a second location.
