How do I share a printer with other computers in my network?
If you wish to share a printer attached to your computer with other systems, you'll need to allow sharing on it.

Enable sharing on the printer, by going to Start, then Settings followed by Printers and Faxes. Right-click on the printer you wish to share and choose "Sharing". When the window opens, click on the "Share this Printer" button and you will be sharing your printer.

To add the printer to another computer, go into that computer's printers menu and click "Add Printer". Choose to add a networked printer and follow the steps in the installation wizard.

Keep in mind that firewall software may cause problems in connecting to a shared printer. In addition, unless your device is hooked up to an ethernet print server device, you'll need to leave the host computer running.
