How do I move the Start Menu?

If you want to move the Taskbar and Start menu, move your mouse pointer over it. Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the menu to another edge of your screen. The menu will automatically orient itself to whatever edge you place it.

If the menu doesn't move when you attempt to drag it, it may be locked. To unlock it, right-click on a blank area and click on "Lock the Taskbar" in order to remove the checkmark beside it.

Once the Taskbar is unlocked, it should move anywhere you drag it. You can lock it again if you want to make it less likely someone will move it without your permission. Keep in mind, though, anyone can unlock it if they know how.
