How do I enable sharing on a drive?

Sharing a drive on your computer network can make it much easier to transfer files between systems. No more running disks from one system to another.

To enable sharing on a drive, right-click on it and choose "Sharing and Security" from the pop-up menu. A window will open with an option to share the drive over a network.

Use caution when sharing a drive as this can put your computer at risk from hackers if precautions are not taken. Be sure your computer is password protected and make sure you are using a firewall with your Internet connection.
